Days 1–30

• Agree the operating outcomes AI should moveWith your leadership team, pick three to five outcomes (cost per case, service level, downtime, lead time, quality) and record a baseline for each.
• Inventory the AI already in useList every AI tool, model and pilot across sites and functions — including tools teams pay for themselves — with owner, data used and users.
• List and score candidate processesCollect volume, cycle time, error rate, rules share, data availability and cost per case for 10–20 processes and score them in the process scanner.Open →
• Run an AI basics session for your leadership teamOne session on predict, generate, act and move, and on reading AI claims, so the team shares a language.

Days 31–60

• Choose the first wavePick one high-value redesign and one or two quick wins from the value × feasibility map; name owners, KPIs, exit criteria and a stop date.
• Mine one cross-functional processRun process mining on order-to-cash, purchase-to-pay or a maintenance process to see variants, waits and manual touches before redesigning.
• Redesign the first process end-to-endUse the redesign steps: outcome first, map doing/checking/waiting, design from scratch, decide who does what, design the exception queue.
• Approve an autonomy ladder for agentsAgree autonomy levels, the evidence to move up, the triggers to move down and the owner who can stop each agent.

Days 61–90

• Simulate your top three disruptionsRun the scenario simulator for a demand spike, a supplier failure and a staffing gap; decide which response improvements to invest in.Open →
• Launch pilots with baselines and comparisonsStart the first-wave pilots with a control site, line or period, full-cost tracking and a paired quality KPI.
• Agree the hub-and-spoke model with your CIO and CAIODecide what is shared (platforms, standards, skills) and what operations owns (use cases, redesign, adoption, results).
• Take the readiness assessment and set next stepsAssess AI readiness for operations across the ten domains and turn the top gaps into the next quarter's plan.Open →
