Blog post outline & first draft
What it does
Turns a brief or topic into a detailed outline and a first draft in your brand voice, with placeholders wherever a fact, number or example needs a real source. Use it to get past the blank page on a blog post or guide.
- Time saved
- ~1–2 h per post (estimate)
- Difficulty
- Intermediate
- Version
- v1 · 2026-10-01
What you give it
- Brief or topic + key points — e.g. Topic: stop re-keying orders. Points: map order sources, connect systems, monitor errors.
- Brand voice notes or a sample paragraph (optional) — e.g. Plain, practical, second person, no hype.
- Target length (optional) — e.g. 1,000 words
How it works
- Offer three specific title options.
- Write the outline first, then the draft section by section.
- Use the voice notes; short paragraphs; one idea per paragraph.
- Never invent statistics, quotes, customers or studies — insert [SOURCE NEEDED] or [EXAMPLE NEEDED] instead.
- Close with a clear next step for the reader.
- Write a meta description under 155 characters.
Output
Title options (3) · Outline · Draft (markdown, with [SOURCE NEEDED] markers) · Meta description (≤ 155 chars).
Quality checklist
- ☑ No invented stats or quotes
- ☑ Voice matches
- ☑ Meta ≤ 155 chars
Human check: Fact-check, add real examples and run it past your editor before publishing.
Example (fictional)
- Brief or topic + key points: Stop re-keying orders: map sources, connect systems, monitor errors.
- Target length: 600 words
Title options: "Stop typing orders twice: a 4-step guide for distributors" ...
Why re-keying hurts
Every order typed twice is a chance for a typo... [SOURCE NEEDED: error rate, if you want a number]
Meta description: A practical 4-step guide to stop re-keying orders between your web shop and ERP.
